Dearest Cast, Supporters, and Scouters,
It is with great sadness that we must announce there will be no Hastings Gang Show this year, 2024.
The new White Rock operators have been unable to honour our pencilled dates in November dated. Therefore, this week, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's event.
Additionally, we have been informed that moving forward, the operators will not permit week-long bookings during the months of September, October, November, or December. This means we will not be able to utilize the facilities for our show during this period in the future.
The show has graced the White Rock stage since its founding in 1966 and is too important to its young casts and wider community to simply let go.
Over the past week, we have been meeting to seek a mutually agreeable alternative timing for our show to take place. Yesterday, after some toing and froing, we agreed to move the show to the spring.
Therefore, I am happy to confirm that our next show will take place at the White Rock on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of May 2025.
We will now commence planning for our 2025 show, which we believe will be bigger, better, and even more successful than ever.
